Greetings to the family of our motherland. We are so excited to be sharing with you our invitation package to an African Regional Meeting like no other, ARM2024. Victoria Falls is a small tourist town situated in the North Western part of Zimbabwe bordering Zambia. The Organising committee has chosen this destination for the ARM to give our African medical students a chance to experience the life of their dreams before they become professionals. As if that was not enough, we have decided to not go home but go big by hosting it at the magnificent Elephant Hills Hotel which will allow our members to enjoy the serene environment rubbing shoulders with wildlife and overlooking the thundering storm of the Victoria falls. The venue also brings to your proximity a lot of breathtaking activities to quench your thirst for adventure and create memories of a lifetime.
By attending this ARM, you will also be a doorstep to exploring other attractions Zimbabwe has to offer as it is very easy to move around. If you have ever wished to not just travel but explore, this is the time to experience Zimbabwean hospitality as you mingle with the people who are very welcoming. The ARM will be running under the theme “Unleashing the potential of medical tourism in Africa” hence it’s a chance to show our African beauties which will be bonuses to people seeking medical care in our region.
This ARM will also be a platform for medical students to build capacity discussing pertinent global health issues and sharing cultures as we prepare to drive the creation of state of the art health centres and strengthened health systems. The OC has made sure to smoothen this experience by making available sufficient and comfortable conferencing facilities. We are working hard to ensure that this meeting will be the best of its kind as we prepare to invite the whole world in the years to come.
